Han Tin Swe was born in Gyomangay, Ayeyarwady Region in 1958. He worked as a book and magazine illustrator for many years before becoming an active member of Vision Gallery in 1995. This painting of an Ayeyarwady landscape captures rural life in the wide delta to the south-west of Yangon.
