San Joaquin Kit Fox and Kit Backlit
The mother fox and kit share a quiet moment in the warm, late afternoon sun. The patches of green grass carpet the area, but offer little comfort to the oppressively dry, hot climate. Thankfully, the animal’s over-sized ears are specifically designed for hot conditions, to dissipate heat.
