The diminutive Brown Headed Cowbird busily munched on the lively insects, as a towering American Bison grazed nearby. Neither bird nor beast appeared threatened by the other’s presence and simply went about its own business. At one point, the bison nearly brushed the cowbird with the tip of his lapping tongue. The cowbird let out a little chirp, before fluttering off.
