Mona Lisa’s Life in Paris

This work is a unique version of Mona Lisa with the student’s own idea about the social environment. This work is titled Mona Lisa’s Life in Paris because the original work of Mona Lisa is owned by France and kept in the Louvre museum in Paris. The student takes the perspective of ‘Mona Lisa’, the painting, feeling the noisy and changing world. Surrounding the depressed woman are scientists’ experiments, travellers’ postcards, writers’ imaginations of her bizarre history. Receiving tens of thousands of visitors in Louvre every day without holiday, the lady is obviously tired of her job and her smile has faded.
