The Universe and Life (II)

This sculpture is inspired by the Chinese concepts of universal equilibrium and strong deference for life. Clean lines form curved surfaces. Empty and solid circles represent yin and yang, the yeast which leavens life, and celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, and earth. Concave and convex mirrored surfaces reflect the phantasmagoria of human life and activity. Squat dwellings and high-rises, described in the clean lines of stainless steel, embrace life and foster harmony. Marrying traditional natural aesthetics and modern technology, this piece expresses the hope for all life to grow and prosper in harmony.
