Join us for a seminar that chronicles Pili’s transformative journey from battling chronic diseases through endurance exercise to founding the Institute of Endurance Science and Technology (IEST). About the Speaker
Pili 目前是 Google 的 GenAI 專家。在加入 Google 之前,他曾擔任端傳媒的首席技術官以及香港浸會大學新聞系的講師。在過去十年中,他在專業工作和個人興趣中應用了數據科學和人工智能,最近的興趣是超級越野跑。在疫情期間,他開始了一段變革之旅,通過跑步,成功減重20公斤,並在幾場比賽中獲得了頒獎台成績,並完成了兩場百英里級別的越野賽。在進行嚴格訓練以實現個人目標的同時,他還創立了耐力學社 (iest.run) 這個在線社區,致力推廣耐力科學與超馬文化。
Pili is currently Google’s GenAI Specialist. Before joining Google, he had been CTO of Initium Media and lecturer in HKBU’s Department of Journalism. He had been applying data science and artificial intelligence in the past decade throughout professional roles and personal interests — the latest being ultra trail running. He embarked on a transformative journey during the pandemic, shedding 20kg fat through running, finishing a few races with podium performance and completing two 168KM trail races. While conducting rigorous training to achieve personal goals, he also founded the Institute of Endurance Science and Technology ( iest.run ), an online community to promote endurance science ultra culture.
