Smart Walk innovates the new format of combining technology with art. It does not only focus on the walking habits and safety alert for the elderly but also indicates visually that slow walking is as beautiful as any other form of walking. Targeting the elderly, Smart Walk is a 3D printed shoe, designed to fixate a balanced walking approach. An alert system is fitted in the shoe for an individual to know when their foot is too tilted or imbalanced. Furthermore, if the elderly trips or hits a hard object, a trigger will be sent to their family members notifying them of a possible emergency. Smart Walk web application is accessible from anywhere for the elderly or their families to monitor their walking habits, momentum and angle.
“會走”是科技與藝術的結合，它可以記錄老年人行走習慣並可以發出安全警報，同時也讓老年人更舒適更安全地行走。而針對老年人的行走習慣運用了3D打印技術的鞋旨在保持老年人行走時的平衡。警報系統則是安裝在鞋面，當偵測到老年人行走時有傾斜或者摔倒的情況時，警報器會發出警報。此外，如果老年人外出行走時發生意外，觸發器將會將警報發送至他們的家人。為此設計的APP也可以從任何地方調取老年人的行走習慣與數據。
